This is a photograph of the Parish-Church in Semmering Pass, courtesy of Pater Nikolaus Seitz. This beautiful baroque church located in the scenic Austrian Alps was originally built in 1728 and was aquired in 1925. It is located near the second monastery, Maria Schutz, built by Father Viktor.

This is a photograph of Schwarzenfeld's monastery (the Miesbergkloster), designed by Father Christopher Berlo. This photograph was obtained from the book, "250 Jahre Miesbergkirche zu Schwarzenfeld."

This is a photograph of Schwarzenfeld, courtesy of Pater Nikolaus. The tower-tip of the Miesbergkirche is visible on the left-hand-side horizon.

Photograph of the Miesbergkloster gate, in Schwarzenfeld. The sign honoring Father Viktor's heroism in April 1945 is visible. The gate seen in this photo leads to the monastery graveyard, where Father Viktor was laid to rest on December 19, 1955.

A close-up of the plaque honoring Father Viktor. The translation (courtesy of Ed Pancoast) is as follows: "In gratitude to honorary citizen, the Very Reverend Father Viktor Koch C.P., Passionist Provincial, who through personal action and civil courage in April 1945 prevented a retaliatory strike by U.S. forces upon the people of the town of Schwarzenfeld. Affixed: Schwarzenfeld, April 1995."
